Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2023

The bright succulent citrus characters and subtle acidity of Semillon pair well with the heady aromas and intense fruit flavours of Sauvignon Blanc. Aromas of lychee, pomegranate, guava and lime blend with sweet lees and oak characters from a brief period in new oak during fermentation. Great intensity of fruit persists all the way through the finish. Great drinking within the next 2 to 3 years.

2022 Vintage. Ray Jordan WA Wine Review 2024: 90 points. "Only a smidgeon of oak has been used in this largely tank fermented blend, but it's enough to put the finishes touches on a most attractive wine. Honeysuckle and nettle characters on the nose with a light drizzle of citrus. The palate is lively with a textural feel coming from that oak use. But it is still bright and flavoursome. Perfect over the next few years."
